We are never adverse to a tribe. We work within tribal legal systems for the benefit of tribal members and businesses that are tribe friendly. We occasionally seek damages from a tribe's insurance policy, as allowed by the tribe. When clients need a tribal lawyer, tribal attorney, advocate, or spokesperson, we represent claimants, plaintiffs, and defendants.
We provide administrative representation in administrative tribunals, such as BIA Dept. of Probate Hearings, Workers' Compensation Hearings, and Social Security Disability matters.
We provide legal representation in Indian Tribal Jurisdiction Courts throughout all of Indian Country. Our clients seek representation in a number of fields, such as personal injury claims against casinos, judicial mortgage foreclosures of properties on Indian trust lands, construction disputes, insurance and surety disputes, collections, collections defense, employment discrimination or contract disputes, wrongful discharge, child custody, and other matters.
Our private advocates know federal Indian law and tribal law. Our advocates are licensed in dozens of tribal courts, from Washington state to Florida and from Arizona to Massachusetts.
In addition, we work with Tribal Advocates National Bar Association (www.TANBAR.org) to train current and aspiring tribal court advocates, with a goal of providing rewarding careers for Indians who are interested in learning the laws of their tribes and helping fellow tribal members in a tribal court proceeding.
Gregory Stephen Arnold, JD, LL.M, is our Founder and Senior Private Advocate. Greg is licensed in almost twenty tribal courts nationwide. He represents claimants in administrative tribunals and Indian tribal courts. Greg is not admitted in any state and does not take cases in state courts. Greg has semi-retired from the practice of law but still accepts an occasional high-profile case. Greg also accepts an occasional high-stakes research assignment from other practitioners and can make referrals upon request.
